This pattern is called mini flower power.  English paper piecing which is super fun.  Then I hand sewed them to black background.  Used a blanket stitch around the centers.  Which I should practice more!  Fun to do a smaller project.

Back of Wilma's quilt.  Color is much prettier...........bright peach.

Wilma's quilt.  Again, the colors are quite muted.  I'm not sure why my camera does not capture the true colors.  Same pattern as Etta's new quilt but with the fabrics Wilma chose and the backing is bright peach.

Etta's new quilt for her new apartment in Brooklyn.  Etta and Wilma will share a bedroom and have day beds.  So matching quilts.  Etta picked out all the fabrics.  I'm still working on Wilma's.  Scrappy star pattern.

My new home in Galloway, New Jersey.  Turned the dining and living room into my quilting studio.  It is incredibly fun.....everything at my finger tips.  Difficult to pace myself!!

Backing fabric..........6 yards each.

Fat quarters and larger pieces.  Thread.

Sculptures done by my daughter when she attended School of Visual Arts.

This wall sculture was done by Dottie Freemantle.  All sewing items surrounding the figure.  Love it.

Librarian at my school made this embroidered piece.......goodbye gift.  It says don't let your sewing machine know you are in a hurry.  My grandson was worried about that........Why don't you want your sewing machine to know you are in a hurry!

Cutting Table.

My innova longarm........named Betty.

Ikea shelves for all my scraps.

Seven foot farmers table was perfect for sewing machine and cutting station.  I can spread out all my work.

Large rectangle ironing board in front of my backyard windows.  Great view and lots of light.

My Bernina Sewing machine.  Maybe 15 years old.....still works so well.  I bought this machine because it had a stitch regulator........for free motion quilting.  Now I have my longarm for quilting.

Quilts decorate almost every wall in my new Galloway, New Jersey home.

This pattern is called Swiss Miss.  It was a kit from Jillily studio.  I bought it at the quilt retreat last October.  All the pieces were cut out.  My first time doing scalloped borders.  I like the look of it.  I hand sewed those like applique.  Fun to make one bird red.

Students and parents in Wilma's 3rd grade class did indigo tie dye squares.  I sewed them together and made a baby quilt.  It is a gift for Wilma's teacher, Anna Park. Her new baby, Ruby Rhee.  This is round two.  Made an other quilt that was mailed but stolen.  This quilt actually came out better so all good.

My guest bathroom in Portland was all about crows.  This is my Galloway guest bathroom.  Sparrows this time!

Tulips for Oma Quilt..........took almost a year to complete.  I prepared the squares ahead and took them with me on my trips to Acme and Brooklyn to hand sew.  This turned out to be so large.  I struggled with the longarm quilting.  Some of the pieces were three pieces thick which caused the needle to break multiple times.  Also, I don't think I was tightening the needle enough.  I'm guessing actually.  I finally just stopped trying to quilt the thicker pieces.  I'm very happy with how the quilt turned out.  It was so fun doing English paper piecing for the sun petals.........and lots of applique!!!

Wildflower Quilt.  Learned how to make this quilt at the Jillily Studio retreat in Utah last September.  The retreat was so fun.........learned many new skills, food was great and the people were so friendly.  Retreat was a blast!

Home Sweet Home quilt pattern by Blackbird Designs.  Started in May 2021. First quilt I finished in my new studio in Galloway, New Jersey.  I turned my whole living and dining room into my quilt studio.  Hand applique........I struggled getting the pieces to fit together and the quilt turned out better than I thought it would.  I do love house quilts!!

Fancy Schmancy quilt pattern.  Bountiful Blooms fabric by Moda.  Quilt pattern designed by Wendy Sheppard.
