Larry Freemantle's Hawaiian shirts.  I made this quilt for his wife Dottie.  Larry wore a Hawaiian shirt every day his last year of teaching.  He and my husband were best teacher friends. My friend Cynde helped by making 5 of the shirts.  Very fun to make.  

 

Applique quilt from The Quiltmaker magazine.  So fun to free motion quilt.  

Here is the back.  Free motion quilting shows up so much more on solid backing.  Not perfect but I will keep practicing!

 

Christmas bundle of fabric from Lancaster.  Made up the pattern myself.

A friend gave me this fabric with the rabbit and I added borders.  I'm making mini quilts to hang on the wall above my cabinets.

Another Kim Diehl mini Quilt.  I was able to longarm quilt all four quilts at once on my new Bernina Q24 longarm.

 

 A Walk in the Woods quilt pattern.  Took one month to complete.  I just used scraps from my scrap collection.  Fun to make.  I do love the colors.  I copied the colors used in the pattern. Very fun to do my longarm stitching.  Lots of feather patterns.  Didn't show  up too much.

Pineapple Twist Foundation paper piecing.  Above my pantry door.
 

 This is the second quilt I've made from this fabric.  Fabric is  called Etchings by Moda.  The quilt pattern is called Harold's Tulip Garden also by Moda.  Turned out huge!  Easier to quilt now with  my 13 foot long arm.  It covers my bed better than any quilt I've made so far.  Had to used a king sized batting.
