I took a few months break from sewing.  With yard work and traveling with my husband, there was little time.  Today my husband is driving with my son cross country to my son's new home in New Jersey.  Sad but excited for their family's new adventure.
While I am alone, I am back to the sewing room.  Granddaughter number two is turning 3.  This is her birthday dress.
The pattern is called Geranium by RAE sewing patterns.  Very easy and fun to make.

This is a whirligig pattern.  A baby quilt for my brother's first grandson, Remington.  I wanted to do a bright, happy quilt.  The mom and dad are into bicycling.  I found this bicycle fabric for the backing.
I did a loopty-loop quilting around each whirligig with a flower in each center.

And a doll quilt to match.

Yesterday, I received this photo with a very sweet thank you card.  Quilt and doll quilt I made for baby Hazel.  The quilt really matched their nursery wall painted gray with white polka dots.

I have made this quilt three times.  Sally Schneider's Blackford's Beauty. This quilt is for my niece Rachelle who is getting married in August.  She wanted dark blue, dark greens and tan.  I love these colors myself.

Sew spooky quilt pattern by The Quilt Company.  Used steam a seam for smaller pieces.  Some embroidery and extra accessories were also used...
